Архитектура села представляет собой пеструю смесь дореволюционных построек и редких многоэтажек советского периода. Из деревянной архитектуры интересен, пожалуй, построенный в начале XX века жилой дом по улице Воровского, 121 и ансамбль церкви Святого Спаса.

Церковь Святого Спаса

Находится в центре села. Некогда это был один из самых красивых храмов в области. Построен в русском стиле. Высокая трехъярусная колокольня с крестами, пятиглавный собор когда-то возвышались над селом и были видны с любой улицы. К сожалению, в годы безвременья основное архитектурное достоинство церкви — купола, кровлю колокольни, кресты — снесли. В настоящее время однокупольная, как бы осевшая церковь мало напоминает ту красавицу, которая дала название селу в 1859 году. В 2000 году. вокруг церкви возвели монументальную ограду, по углам поставили башни, и церковь стала напоминать монастырь.
