В поселке Ложок (в 9 км к юго-востоку от Искитима) находились особый лагерный пункт №4 (ОЛП-4) и №2 (ОЛП-2) Сиблага. Лагерь ОЛП-4 считался штрафным и был известен среди заключенных под названием Искитимского. ОЛП-2 входил в КУИТУ — Краевое управление исправительных учреждений. Среди заключенных Сиблага было много известных людей, в частности Наталья Ларина — жена Николая Бухарина.

Новососедовская пещера

Пещера карстового происхождения.

Расположение: на северной окраине села Новососедово Искитимского района Новосибирской области на лесистом склоне горы Каменистый мыс, расположенной на левом берегу реки Китерня (приток реки Ик). С другого склона гора ограничена рекой Малый Ик. Вход находится под единственным кустом черёмухи на этом склоне горы на дне воронки и представляет собой лаз 0,4х0,6 метра, уходящий вертикально вниз.

Адрес: Новосибирская область, Искитимский район, с. Завьялово. Село Завьялово расположено в 66 км к юго-западу от Искитима, среди живописного островка уникального Караканокого бора.

Святой ключ

Адрес: Новосибирская область, Искитимский район, пос. Ложок.

Находится в 500 м к востоку от поселка Ложок. Как утверждают, святой источник забил в 1940-х годах на месте расстрела заключенных Сиблага, в числе которых были священнослужители. Вода в источнике — кристально прозрачная, чистая. Молва наделила ее чудодейственными свойствами. Считается, что она по-настоящему святая и со временем не портится. Над источником — небольшая деревянная часовенка.
