Умревинский острог

В один из последних дней августа 1703 года там, где речка Умрева впадает в Обь (это в ста километрах к северо-востоку от современного Новосибирска), раздался стук топоров. В этом месте боярский сын Алексей Кругляков решил основать острог — одно из укреплений, предназначенных для защиты русского населения Верхнего Приобья от набегов барабинских татар и алеутов. Волею случая именно это поселение стало первым административным пунктом Российского государства на территории современной Новосибирской области — здесь ночник Умревинский острог.

Заказник Мануйловский

Расположение: Болотнинский район

Площадь: 12,196 тыс. га

Границы заказника: от д. Мануйлово на юг по проселочной дороге на д. Долгово до административной границы Тогучинского района. Далее она поворачивает на запад и по административной границе Тогучинского района доходит до пересечения с дорогой на ур. Левотерск и продолжается, идя на север по проселочной дороге доходит до ур. Левотерск. Затем граница поворачивает на запад и напрямую выходит к правому истоку р. Ояш, следуя по нему до р. Ояш, по которой доходит до д. Кривояш; от него она пролегает по автодороге на север до д. Лебяжье, откуда в восточном направлении по р. Лебяжья доходит до д. Мануйлово.

Село Турнаево

Расположение: в 12 км к северо-востоку от Болотного.

Одно из умирающих сел области. Когда-то здесь было 600 дворов, осталось 60. На месте изб — прямоугольники крапивы. Но тем неожиданней среди унылой картины в восточной части села, у небольшой сосновой рощицы, увидеть великолепную деревянную церковь.

Церковь во имя Преподобного Серафима Саровского

Адрес: Новосибирская область, Болотнинский район, с. Турнаево.

Это единственная в области сохранившаяся деревянная церковь начала XX века. Кроме того, это еще и самое значительное и красивое деревянное сооружение не только в области, но и в Сибири. Ее высота 29 м. Колокольню церкви видно еще на дальних подъездах к Турнаеву. В былые времена звон колоколов был слышен аж в Болотном. И сегодня, даже будучи в аварийном состоянии, она впечатляет своей величественностью. Церковь во имя Святого Серафима Саровского заложена в 1912 году.
